Are You Denying the Fact that You Need Cocaine Addiction Treatment?
It’s a shame that so many people who could live a fulfilling life will never seek proper cocaine addiction treatment because they don’t believe they deserve a better life. That’s the strangest thing about addiction—the addiction works its way into your mind like an abuser, making you afraid to live without your drug. What’s worse is the self abuse that occurs after someone tries a cocaine addiction treatment program and fails.
Those who were once perfectly logical and independent people, who should now be seeking cocaine addiction treatment, will tell themselves that they are not worthy of recovery—secretly glad that they will not have to part with the cocaine they’ve convinced themselves that they can’t live without. This is the flawed thought process of an addict.
Listen for the Authentic Voice of Reason Within Yourself
If you are an addict, there is a place within yourself that knows that you desperately need cocaine addiction recovery. That voice may be terrified and coming from a small, dark, place. But if you can find that place and have the courage to listen to your true self, successful cocaine addiction treatment is absolutely possible.
Though it’s a start, it’s not enough to simply read information online or even in my books. You must take action. If you cannot quit on your own, and many people cannot, you must seek a cocaine addiction treatment program that you believe in your heart of hearts will help you to lead a life of permanent sobriety.
The flawed thinking of your mind riddled with addiction may allow you to go through the motions of a cocaine addiction treatment program that you know deep in your heart will not work. This will give you the satisfaction that you tried while also allowing you to continue with the seductive habits that are destroying your life. If you are going to take action, you must make the most difficult decision and fight the addict within yourself and make a choice to enter a cocaine addiction treatment program that will save you from addiction once and for all.
Recovery is a Process of Experiences and Revelations
The journey that led to the writing of my book, A Twelve-Step Journey to Self-Transformation, was a series of experiences and realizations. I saw that these thought process and realizations also set Floyd free from a life of addiction and I watched it work for others as well. The process is not a new one—it is based on the original practices and disciplines of the 12 step program.
The experiential teachings that you’ll read about in my book eventually manifested in physical form as the Mark Houston Recovery Center, a home-style recovery center set on 70 acres of rolling Texas landscape where men struggling with addiction can work through the self transformation journey. Here, men who need a longer continuum of care following a traditional 20-30 day cocaine addiction treatment program can learn to live the experiences of the 12 step program. If practiced consistently, the disciplines of the 12 step program can and will lead you to a vibrant, addiction-free life that is full of authentic joy and happiness.
